Marlborough to Host Girl Up Pep Rally

Marlborough will host the first ever West Coast Girl Up Pep Rally on November 5.

Marlborough was selected to host the first ever West Coast Girl Up Pep Rally on November 5 from 4:00-7:00 p.m. All girls ages 10-18, whether they attend Marlborough or not, are invited to participate in this exciting event!

 

Girl Up, a campaign of the United Nations Foundation, gives American girls the opportunity to raise awareness and funds for United Nations programs that help some of the world's hardest-to-reach adolescent girls. Through Girl Up, girls around the world have the opportunity to become educated, healthy, safe, and positioned to become future leaders. Five-dollar donations to the Girl Up Pep Rally provide girls around the world with access to such basic needs as school supplies, clean water, health services, and more.

 

Special guests at the rally include Her Majesty Queen Rania Al Abdullah of Jordan, Olympic Gold Medalist Rebecca Soni and other special guests.
