From Mustangs to Lions

Marlborough scholar-athletes make their mark on the Ivy League.

Marlborough Mustangs have long made their mark on the local high school basketball scene, but their excellence in the classroom, combined with their prodigious talents on the hardwood, have created a pathway to the Ivys.

This year, 3 former Lady Mustangs are starting on the Columbia University Women's Basketball Team.

Taylor Ball '09, Sabaah Jordan '09, and Miwa Tachibana '11 are all Lions at Columbia University.

Miwa was recently named Ivy League Rookie of the Week (Nov. 21)


Columbia is not the only Ivy League College to boast a former Mustang on their roster.

Lindsay Louie '07 is currently the captain of the Women's Basketball Team at Harvard University, and Tyler Kim '11 is a freshman on the Cornell Women's Basketball Team.
